Ianto Ware

National Live Music Co-ordinator, Sounds Australia

Ianto Ware was appointed National Live Music Coordinator with Sounds Australia in January 2013.

He was previously the CEO of Renew Adelaide and the founding director of Format, a not-for-profit arts venue hosting a yearly festival. He also holds a PhD in Cultural Studies and has worked as a researcher, consultant and policy advisor on urban renewal, regulatory reform, media and social inclusion.

Moreover, he has been playing in bands since 1995, and continued performing, touring and recording on a regular basis up until 2012.
