Zac Zavos
Co-Founder & Managing Director, Conversant Media
Zac Zavos is the co-founder and Managing Director of Conversant Media, an online company that produces the Australian culture website Lost At E Minor and the sports opinion website, The Roar. Founded in 2007, the combined Conversant sites reach over 1,000,000 unique browsers and receive over 35,000 comments and 700 audience article submissions each month. In late 2010, he successfully managed a capital raising, with Network Ten becoming a minority investor in The Roar. Conversant Media is run out of Newcastle, Australia with sub-offices in Sydney and Austin, USA
Prior to forming Conversant Media in 2007 with his brother, he spent nine years in e-business consulting with a number of firms including IBM, Deloitte, Fidelity Investments and ThoughtWorks. Zac has a BA (Psychology & Sociology) and Master of Commerce (Information Systems & Management), both from the University of NSW.
In 2009 and 2010 I was named one of Sydney’s 100 Creative Catalysts by Vivid Sydney.
Zac is a keen photographer and squash player and his passions include personal mobility devices, travel, and really great tea.
